Bored

Suuuper slow at the shop today. Did one so far and hasn't really been a single walk in for tattoos since.

So far behind on this.....

Man I have really fallen behind on this blog.  I've just been super busy though.  Work was dead today though.  Didn't have really a single serious walk-in at all today so Jake (the shop receptionist) and I spent pretty much the entire day going through my old drawings and copies of reference and trimming them to fit into binders so I can have them better organized.  Other than that I came home and spent from around 9:30pm until 1am doing an Economics quiz.  It was only 20 multiple choice questions and it took me 3-1/2 fucking hours.  The teacher pulls the questions from a test bank to make the quizzes.  The only thing is the test banks aren't very new but this is the first school session that the book for our class is being used in.  That means that all of the questions aren't exactly written to coincide with the information that is in our books.  I can find the greater majority of it in the book but the wording is so different from the questions that I have to use deductive reasoning to work out the answers.  Such a pain in the ass.  Anyways, gotta start Accounting homework soon but wanna pick up my room a little bit first and do some more reading in "The Elusive Electromagnet" book by Dano Collins.  It's a really interesting read about building and tuning tattoo machines from scratch.

Borderlands

I know the game has been out for quite a while now but I just started playing it after a friend of mine kept telling me every time I saw her that I should.  It's an awesome game. I'm having trouble stopping playing it to do my work.  I've been playing it with just about every free second I have.  Which really isn't a good thing because there a lot more I need to be doing lol.

Ongoing project......

I'm going to take this short amount of time off from classes to organizing and getting my HTPC setup.  Well it's not really an actual HTPC,  it's a small nettop that I'm running XBMC on and have a few external hard drives with movies, tv shows, and music on.  I need to complete renaming the files so I can run them through the scrapers properly.  Hopefully I can get these completed within this next week so it make things a lot easier when adding new series and movies to it.  As I work on it, I'll keep progress updates and such and post them on here as applicable.

Qubo

So I know that Qubo is a kids channel and I'm sure not a lot of people I know even know of the channel, but I've been hooked on the late night cartoons they show lately.  They just bring back a lot of memories watching them.  At night starting at 10pm they start showing an hour of He-Man, then it's an hour of She-Ra (which I kind of waste away online during that hour), then an hour of Ghostbusters (the one with the ape not the one with Slimer), Bravestarr, and lastly an hour of a newer cartoon called Spliced.  Great great shows.

Well it was a good run....

I missed the Final Four games today being at work.  I got  to catch a few minutes here and there at the bar next door though and mostly on my phone since the internet connection on the computer at work sucks.  I wished Kentucky would have won today.  It sucks they lost by 1 but it was a lot more than anyone had expected from the team this year.  Well more than expected from the realistically thinking fans rather than the completely fanatical ones, which there are quite a few of those out there.  But, anyways, it was a good run by the team and with next year's recruiting class they should be able to make plenty of noise.  I'm off though.  I need to get started on homework and some drawings I told people I would have ready for them by tomorrow.

Need a vacation

I have a week off of classes in about 3 weeks.  I'm hoping if I have enough saved up I can take a week off of work and either just relax or take a little road trip somewhere.  It would be nice to get out of town for a couple days.

Been working on this.....

....for a little bit today. Still need to work out a better layout, in my opinion at least. Anyways, I'll get it figured out hopefully soon. I remember when I was a web design student that I would become so indecisive on page layouts and design that I would completely slack off on the content haha. Here's hoping that doesn't happen here.

First Post

Between work, school, and various little projects that I may never finish I decided to start up one of these just to see if I have anything interesting going on that I may not have noticed. Who knows what I may post? Well, I'll probably just have things ranging from stuff about work and school. Possibly have some pictures of any interesting tattoos that I do or drawings that I'm working on. I have quite a few unfinished projects that I've started so I will keep updates on those on here. Hey, I may even start taking pictures of more of the tattoos that I do in order to keep this thing going. It'll give me an excuse to do so since simply updating my portfolio doesn't seem to keep me on my toes with taking pics lol. Anyways, this was my first post with hopefully more to come as long as this doesn't become another unfinished project :/.
